How to Sign and Accept an ePACT
Follow these steps to complete the ePACT signing process:
1. Access the ePACT Email
- Check your email inbox for a message titled “New ePACT Alert.”
- Open the email and click on the “Review Document” button to begin.
2. Review the Document
- You’ll be directed to the Document Review Page.
- Click the link to read the “Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure” statement.
- After reviewing, check the box to confirm your understanding, then click the Continue button.
3. Review Parties and Documents
- Expand the “Party Details” section to view the individuals involved in this ePACT.
- In the “Enclosed Documents” section, you’ll find the attached documents.
- A verified checkmark indicates the document has been validated for authenticity.
4. Add Comments (Optional)
- To add a comment, click the Comment button.
- Enter your comment and click Submit.
- All parties will receive an email notification with your comment.
5. Create Your Digital Signature
Note: This step applies only if you haven’t created your digital signature yet.
- Click the START SIGNING or NEXT pointer to begin.
- You’ll be taken to the first place in the document where you need to initial or sign.
- Click on the initial or sign annotation.
If you don’t already have a digital signature, a popup titled “Create Your Electronic Signature” will appear. Follow these steps:

Enter Your Details:
- Type your name and initials into the provided fields.

Choose Your Signature Style:
- Select a style from the dropdown menu.
- Alternatively, draw your signature using your mouse or trackpad.
- If you have a scanned image of your signature, upload it by clicking the UPLOAD tab.

Preview Your Signature:
- Use the preview window to ensure your signature looks correct.

Review the Legal Note:
- Read the reminder stating that clicking the Create & Adopt button makes your digital signature legally binding for all ePACT documents.

Finalize Your Signature:
- When satisfied, click the Create & Adopt button to complete the process.
6. Sign the Document
- Click the START SIGNING or NEXT pointer again to return to the document.
- Click on the annotations for your initials and signature. Your entries will appear immediately.
- Use the NEXT pointer to navigate to the next required signature or initial field.
7. Complete the Signature Panel
- When you reach the Signature Panel, click on Sign This Document.
- Your signature and timestamp will be added, along with a verified checkmark confirming authenticity.
8. Finalize the ePACT
- If additional documents require your signature, the NEXT pointer will guide you.
- Once all signatures are complete, the FINISH button will activate. Click it to finalize the ePACT.
9. Optional: Create a FREE ePACT!T Account
- After signing, click Get Started to create a free account.
- Benefits include:
- Viewing a complete Audit Trail for the ePACT.
- Sending and managing multiple ePACTs with free signup credits.
That’s it! You’ve successfully signed your ePACT.
