How to Upload Legacy Contracts
ePACT!T provides a secure platform to upload and store your legacy contracts, allowing you to digitize your old paper contracts and keep them organized in one protected place. Once uploaded, these contracts are encrypted and digitally signed to ensure they remain safe and tamper-proof.
Please note: Legacy contracts are for archival purposes only and cannot be used as templates within ePACTs.
Follow the steps below to upload your legacy contracts.
1. Log Into Your Account
Start by logging into your ePACT!T account using your credentials.
2. Access the Legacy Contracts Section
- Once logged in, navigate to the Legacy Contracts section from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Click on the Upload Contract link located within this section.
3. Select a Category
- Choose a Category for your contract. You can either:
- Select an existing category from the dropdown menu, or
- Click Create New Category to add a custom category.
4. Enter Contract Information
- Contract Name: Give your contract a name that will help you easily identify it later.
- Reference Number (Optional): If you want to organize contracts by a reference number, enter it here. This can help group related contracts together. You can also use the search icon to select an existing reference number.
- Document Title: Provide a title for the contract document itself.
5. Upload Your Document
- Click the Choose File button to select the scanned contract document from your computer.
- Add a Description: Provide a brief description to offer more context for the contract (optional).
6. Upload the Document
- Click the Upload button to upload the scanned contract to the system.
- Once uploaded, you'll see a verified checkmark, indicating that your document has been securely encrypted and uploaded.
7. Additional Options for Your Contract
- Edit Contract Details: If you need to make any changes to the contract's information, click the Edit Contract Details link to update.
- Add Another Document: To upload more documents related to the same contract, click the Add Another Document link.
- Remove a Document: If you need to delete a document, click the Remove link. The credits used for this document will be refunded to your account.
8. Track Your Uploads and Credits
- The number of credits used to secure and upload each document will be displayed next to the document.
- You can upload multiple legacy contracts, each containing multiple documents.
9. Search for Uploaded Contracts
- To quickly find any of your uploaded contracts, use the Search link. This allows you to search by contract name, category, or reference number.
